1. Fast mode — your images never leave your device
When you use Fast mode, the AI model runs entirely inside your web browser. Your image is processed locally and is never uploaded to us or anyone else. We have no way to see, store, or copy it.
2. HD mode — processed in transit, never stored
HD mode sends your image to our processing engine over an encrypted connection, returns the result, and discards the original immediately. We do not store, review, or share HD images. Our processing provider (fal.ai) also operates under a no-retention policy for inference inputs.
3. Account data
If you create an account (email or Google sign-in), we store only your email address, an internal user ID, and your plan status. We never store passwords in plain text. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for marketing.
4. Analytics
We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization to count visits and improve the site. It never sees your images. No advertising trackers, no ad networks. The only cookie is the login token your own browser stores to keep you signed in.
5. Third-party services
Google Sign-In: when you use "Continue with Google", Google receives the fact that you're signing in to CutOutLab and shares your email address and basic profile with us, under Google's privacy policy. fal.ai: acts as our HD processing provider under a data-processing agreement, as described in section 2. Cloudflare: serves this website and protects it from abuse (standard CDN logs).
6. Your rights
You can delete your account at any time by emailing support, which removes your email and plan records permanently. Under GDPR/CCPA you may request access, correction, or deletion of any personal data we hold — we respond within 72 hours.
